Snorkeling

History

For islands which lay uninhabited for Centuries, Seychelles has a unique and diverse historical tale to tell. Explore more than dry history in the History museum in Victoria; details here.

 

Go back in time to experience a traditional creole village setting with ‘Maison Du Planter’ at Domaine De Val Des Pres. domaine-de-val-des-pres.

Near Anse Royale, the lovely Jardin du Roi with its fascinating history and small museum also offers walking trails through its  picturesque spice gardens. There is a wonderful panoramic hilltop ocean view and welcoming café.

Hiking

From strolling along the sandy beach at Beau Vallon, to visiting the giant tortoises at the  national-botanical-garden  in downtown Victoria, there are walks to suit everyone.

Anse Major: a very popular coastal walk to a glorious beach with rustic café. Wonderful viewpoints along the way. There’s the possibility of a return journey by boat taxi if you book. Please note charges will apply for Non-residents. anse_major_nature_trail_guide

Kayaking

For the more adventurous at heart, we can recommend 
White Sands Adventures who offer unique wilderness experiences in the heart of Seychelles nature.

 

Options include guided Kayak tours, Off-road vehicle safaris or Electric bike escapes. Refreshments provided on request.
